Tasha Runyon

Tasha Runyon serves as the Transitional Kindergarten teacher at Hickory Christian Academy in Hickory, North Carolina. She has held this position for the past 10 years. Tasha is a strong believer in the importance of fostering a solid foundation as students begin their early years of education. She has seen firsthand the joy students carry as they blossom and grow along the path God has for them. Tasha loves to teach and has taught multiple grades in public schools, Christian schools, home school and now at a Classical Christian School for more than 20 years. Tasha holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Reading Education K-12. She and her husband Scott are parents to 3 adult children, Zakary, Brynn and Braden. Tasha enjoys time with family, her church family and walking Katie and Phoebe – her two dogs.
