Andrew Smalley

Dr. Andrew Smalley serves as Head of School at Veritas Classical School in St. Augustine. He has an extensive background in K-12 classical Christian education. In addition to direct classroom work, Andrew has almost 20 years of administrative experience, including serving as Dean of Students at a school in Pennsylvania and Director of Fine Arts in Texas. He is originally from England and completed his post-graduate certificate in Education at Birmingham City University in England and his Master of Arts degree at Villanova. His doctorate is in Educational Leadership, having also completed his Educational Specialist (Ed. S.) degree in the same discipline. Andrew is passionate about leadership development for students, faculty, and administration in the Christian school environment and is a national speaker in this area. In recent years, he has been invited to speak at the national conferences for the Council on Educational Standards and Accountability (CESA) and the Society of Classical Learning (SCL) as well as The Deeper Learning Conference. Andrew and his wife, Robin, have been married since 2002 and have three children. He is a competitive triathlete and an avid sailor in his spare time.
