Connie Peeler

Connie Peeler is the Grammar School Principal at Hickory Christian Academy in Hickory, North Carolina. She has worked in classical education for the past 25 years. Connie is a wife to Doug (“Pete”) Peeler and parent of two adult children, Andrew Peeler and Rebecca Phillips. They and their spouses have given their momma the best gift of all, 4 precious grandchildren: Isaac, Leah, Hannah Grace and Owen. For them, and for all other children, Connie has a passion to see young people grow and prosper in His word and to be blessed by a good education with the Lord at the center. Connie is Orton-Gillingham trained, giving her the tools needed to make the curriculum multi-sensory. She encourages having order in school, which allows all students to feel secure and have confidence in what they are learning. Her personal testimony with her own children led to a total turn around in her classroom teaching. She is grateful to the Lord for walking her through a trial to get to the blessing of Classical Education.
