Q– If the Wyndham Grand Hotel is booked, where should I look for lodging?

Additional hotel information is available here. Check out our secondary hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn. A new third option is the Hilton Doubletree.Note: Check back periodically with the Wyndham Grand as reservations may change. New hotel options may also be added.

Q– What are the registration options?

There are many registration options. The main conference is June 22-24. You can also register separately for a Pre-conference Practicum or Leader’s Day on Wednesday, June 21st. We also offer online, single day, and site license options. Register here.

Q– Are there social events outside of the workshops and talks?

Yes! There are several options for all attendees as well as get togethers for specific groups. You can also schedule your own. More details coming soon on the RTR app.

Q– Can I get Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits for the conference?

We can provide attendees with a document that they may use to obtain CEUs.

Q– What can I expect as a parent or an attendee not connected to a classical Christian school?

Come for joyful Christian fellowship, hear from wise, experienced, and renowned leaders, and learn more about classical education from a worldview that loves the True, Good, and Beautiful. Anyone is welcome to attend, and everyone will come away encouraged for whatever vocation they are called to.

Q– Can students attend?

Yes, we welcome students – especially high-schoolers and college students!

Q– What is the Foundation Track?

Do you have new teachers who need a crash-course on practical classical teaching? Or, are you a current teacher who knows the basic principles of “classical,” but aren’t sure how it all comes together in the classroom? The Foundation Track course is designed to provide a foundational practice in classical K-12 education that will change the way you teach. Look for this symbol on the schedule.

Q– Are there restaurants nearby?

Yes. The Wyndham Grand is at the edge of downtown Pittsburgh right next to a small state park along the river. There are many restaurants in the nearby cultural district, Market Square, and other locations. Learn more about the Wyndham Grand and the surrounding area.  View Nearby Restaurants PDF
